HDI WCNY Desktop Support Technician of the Year

Kris Haney’s professional life started after high school where he joined the US Army as an Information Specialist working with LAN / WAN construction and maintenance as well as being a network administrator.  While in the Army, he performed complex analysis of information technology systems while performing duties as the Battle Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), supervising soldiers and civilians in tracking and reporting network status using complex Information Technology Systems.   

 

After an honorable discharge from the Army, Kris went to work as a web developer and IT manager and performed complex analysis of information technology systems in support of multi-functional applications and automated office systems including planning, designing, development, recommendations, decisions and implementation of all end-user equipment and software.  He conducted tests to determine quality of information, performed department wide system backups on a daily, weekly and yearly basis, deployed, installed, and maintained SQL databases.  While in the civilian arena, he got the opportunity to travel around the world to collect raw data for months at a time and work with customers to provide training on relevant software and hardware systems.  Kris came to Paychex as a PC Support Analyst in February 2014 and currently lives in Southern California with his family.   

 

HDI WCNY Analyst of the Year

Charles Clauser started with Paychex Inc. in June of 2012 as a contractor supporting our desktop support team.  He joined Paychex as a full time employee in October 2012 supporting our payroll application.  Charles has a background in technical education and has been a Technical Support specialist prior to joining Paychex.  Charles was promoted to an IT Service Desk Specialist II in 2014 for his strength in technical skills, teamwork and outstanding customer service.  


Charles received a Manager's Choice WOW award for leading by example in his service and partnership with his tier 2 peers. He often receives emails from his customers thanking him for his work and how much they appreciate working with him on issues.
